Amanda Baker5 StarThis review is way overdue. Dr. McClure removed a molar with a metal crown for me in 2018. There was no tooth decay. But for some reason, I had necrosis in my jaw under the tooth. It was causing so much pain, I just wanted it out. I usually have a bad reaction to physical stress so I was dreading the procedure. To my surprise, I felt REALLY good after the procedure. For the longest time, I was convinced it was the extra Benadryl I had taken. Or maybe the anesthesia. I wasn't sure. But the muscle pain I usually have was GONE for the entire day. Fast forward to July 2022. My porphyrin levels came up high on a test. More tests reveal I definitely have a disorder called Porphyria. Genetic susceptibility to metal sensitivity and/or lead poisoning is one known effect of the disorder. I was stunned. Wow. Until seeing the proof, I wasn't sure I bought into all the fuss about metal fillings and toxicity. Now I do! I'll be seeing Dr. McClure again soon.Friday 16th December 2022
