At Nichols Family Dentistry our numbers one priority is patient care. With over 45 years of combined experience, we strive to provide dental care of the highest quality in a respectful and professional environment. Our goal is to provide patients with comprehensive quality dentistry while addressing their needs and meeting their expectations. We are committed to improving your dental health, provide excellent customer service in a welcoming, state of the art office environment.
Dr. Maria Nichols came to the area in 1994 after serving in the military for 11 years. Since then, she has been providing quality dentistry to the Chevy Chase/DC area. In 2022 the practice was expanded to bring in her son Dr. David Nichols. Dr. David completed his dental education in 2017 and worked with Catholic Charities Dental program in Northwest DC until 2022 when he came and joined the family practice.

Julian Quijano1 StarI arrived 15 minutes earlier for my appointment! No one talked to me at the front desk, after a few minutes I said hello to see if someone would check me in, someone far away said oh I will be with you in a moment, 15 minutes later no one came, 3 more people arrived meanwhile I was waiting, and all of them were called before me, I was about to leave the place when finally someone called me, this Asian lady took me to the room 15 minutes after my appointment at 8:30pm, I told her that I needed to go to the restroom and she said with an attitude go, I came back 2 minutes later and she said do not remove your jacket we are running late! I told her that I was 15 minutes early to my appointment and it took me only 2 minutes to go to the restroom, when she was about to start the cleaning the machine did not work for her! After like 5 minutes it started working! Then she was very rude in how she was doing the cleaning that it was painful, she put a lot of water all over my face, when she was moving from one side to the other she was putting all her clothes over my face and the way she did the cleaning job was not good at all, not detailed and well done, I went to this place 6 months ago and it was better with a different guy.Tuesday 10th December 2024

Rebecca Forsyth5 StarDr. Nichols extracted my tooth today and as usual he was very gentle. The tooth was out before I knew it. I was in pain when I went into the office and although I was scheduled for a cleaning he deviated and took care of that pain by extracting my tooth. The cleaning can wait but not that pain. I that really appreciated it and I feel fine now.Wednesday 11th September 2024
